Hi, I’m Canyon, the owner of Ridge Grooming! I’ve been in the grooming industry for about 5 years and couldn’t be happier with my choice. I started grooming because of my interest in animal behavior and a desire to work hands-on with animals of all kind. I learned under an amazing mentor before I moved to the area and started my own business at 19. Building this business has allowed me to grow personally while making a positive difference in lives of pets and their people. I love seeing how happy dogs are after their grooms and the excitement they bring home to their families. Outside of the shop, I enjoy photography, painting, and spending time near the ocean with my dog Archer. 

Hi, I’m Kayla! I’ve been working in the grooming industry for almost 9 years, and I chose this path because it combines two things I love: animals and creativity. I enjoy being outdoors, exploring new places, and expressing myself through creative hobbies. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and building connections with both pets and their owners. When I’m not at the shop, you can usually find me reading or out on a hike. Hi, I’m Cami! I’ve been in the grooming industry since 2011. I’ve always loved animals, so much that I wanted to be a puppy when I grew up, and grooming turned out to be the next best thing. I’m originally from Whidbey Island and have always felt most at home near the water, so Pacific Grove feels like the perfect fit. I love working with a great team while helping dogs look and feel their best. Outside of the shop, I enjoy reading, spending time with my son and my dog, and being outdoors whenever I can.

Hi, I'm Lydia! I design and manage the website for Ridge Grooming. I'm an avid animal lover who worked at the shop as a Pet Grooming Assistant part-time while pursuing my M.S. in Environmental Science at Cal State Monterey Bay.  Now that I'm graduated, I'm a Restoration Specialist & Environmental Biologist at Rana Creek Habitat Restoration. 

I love getting to still be a part of a local business like Ridge that cares about community, animals, and quality work. When I'm not working, you can usually find me hiking, reading, or cooking!

Hi, I’m Sara! I’m new to the grooming industry, but I’ve spent the past seven years working as a professional horse groom and am a lifelong equestrian, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I grew up on the peninsula and have always loved Pacific Grove, especially for surfing, so getting to work near the waves is a nice perk of the job. I really appreciate how much joy dogs bring into the work, and I find fulfillment in helping them feel their best. Outside of the shop, you’ll usually find me surfing, horseback riding, or walking by the water.

Hi, I’m Archer! I’m two years old and full of energy, personality, and enthusiasm. I love meeting new people, playing whenever I get the chance, and being right in the middle of whatever’s going on. I’m a quick learner and have my obedience tricks down, so I like to show off a little when I can. When I’m not making new friends, you’ll usually find me running around, playing, or keeping a close eye on the shop.
